October fun

So normally I'm a big fan of October. Halloween is awesome. I love decorating and carving pumpkins and dressing up. I love that the leaves change colors and drift from the branches to the ground. I took the cutest pictures of Kelcy playing in the leaves last year. But October this year has pretty much sucked. We were buying a house from a woman who, to make a long story short, decided not to sell to us anymore so we had to find a new place to live ASAP. Luckily we found a cute apartment that we can afford but the woman is pretty pissed at us even though she told us to move. There is going to be drama there, I just know it. Now begins the process of unpacking. And somehow in the process of moving, our misty cat escaped from tracy and is now living in the shed in the backyard but wont let anyone catch her. Its our bad karma for saying we only had one cat to avoid paying two pet deposits. I'm hoping I can snag her the next time I go over there. Especially since she's declawed and can't catch food on her own!
Not all of October has been bad. My sister bought my car. Its a little sad for me to say goodbye to the first BRAND NEW car I ever bought on my own but since Tracy is joining the army we dont need two cars anymore. Two months and counting until he enlists!!Its crazy for me to think about that. I'm going to basically be a single mom for 9 weeks when he is in Basic training and then San Antonio here we come!
Kelcy and Madison are doing awesome. We are working on potty training Kelcy but its slow going. She's never been one to complain about being wet so trying to make her understand that she needs to go in the potty is hard when she doesnt get uncomfortable in a wet diaper. Hopefully one day it'll just click, but if anyone has any suggestions OTHER than to just let her go naked I'd really appreciate them. I tried the whole naked thing today and cleaning up toddler poo from the kitchen floor isn't my favorite past time. Kelcys new favorite thing to do is take off her clothes and run around the house in her diaper. She does it ALL the time.
Madison is one month old and doing great. She is getting so big! She already looks so different to me even though newborn clothes are still big on her. At her two week checkup she'd already gained a whole pound from her birthweight so I'm guessing that she weighs about 8 lbs right now. She has my nose. Like my EXACT nose. I have this weird crease in the top of my nose on the left side and Madison has it too. I feel kind of bad for her because I hate my nose. One day, when I have lots of money, I'm so getting a nose job, and maybe a chin implant, and a tummy tuck... and I'm off on a tangent. Anyway... Tomorrow is halloween and I'm so excited to take Kelcy trick or treating again. She gets it this year! She is a "kitty witch" and its sooo cute so we decided to make the whole family witches. My costume is pink and black like Kelcys, and Tracy is a wizard and little miss Madison is our black cat. Its so cute. Hopefully I can get some pics posted soon. I just need to find the camera cord.

Life Changes

There comes a point in every persons life where things change. Sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse. Lucky for me, my recent life changes have all been for the better. I recently had a baby, my husband got a new awesome job and made the decision to join the army and I sold my car. All of those things combined mean that I now get the fantastic opportunity of being a stay at home mom! So this blog will be about my adventures of being a mom to two adorable girls while trying to help my husband reach all of his goals for the army. He's hoping to join in January but there are a few things that have to happen before he can sign papers. Anyway.. WELCOME TO MY LIFE!!

P.S. Mark BE NICE!!!
