Haircut

So i'm thinking of changing my hair. I have a few styles I really like but I want everyones opinion!

Style 1- Sophia Bush. I ADORE her! I think she is sweet and beautiful. If I could have her hair, but red, that'd be awesome.


Style 2- Amy Adams! My new favorite star!


Style 3- Lauren Conrad. I'm addicted to The Hills, and her hair ALWAYS looks so cute! Obviously she has stylists and whatnot but I still really like her hair.

Sadie Huish

So this morning at work I logged onto KSL.com just to get an update of what is happening in Salt Lake since we dont have tv. I read a story about a little girl named Sadie Huish who has been diagnosed with brain cancer. The cancer is wrapped around her brain stem and is inoperable. Make-A-Wish is granting her wish to go to Disneyworld and meet the princesses, but one of the other things she wished for was to meet President Monson. After numerous phone calls by her family and friends he came to her house to play with her! He gave her a blessing. Can you even imagine? The prophet, at your house, playing with your kids? It makes me thankful that I am a member, albeit inactive (I'm working on it...), of a church that focuses so much on family. Conversations with Kelcy

So I think my little girl is HILARIOUS! She does the funniest things and says the funniest stuff so I just thought I'd record a few recent conversations.

Saturday at her birthday "party" My sister in law was over here with her little girl Abby and Tracy told Kelcy to be nice to abby and she turned around and pointed her finger at him and said "SHUT UP DAD YOU ARE PISSING ME OFF!" I almost DIED!!! We were all laughing so hard. After we picked ourselves up off the floor we told her not to say that anymore but seriously.. so funny.

Just now she comes up to me and goes "MOM! Tinkerbell Died!! I can't believe she did that!" And I go "what tinkerbell died?" And she goes "Yep... True story!"

Kelcys Birthday

My sweet Kelcy turned 3 on Friday. I can't believe that I have a 3 year old! She was so cute that day. We took her out to lunch at Olive Garden and then to see Disney Princesses on Ice. I thought she was going to have a heart attack! First we got to take the train (TRAX) Downtown to the ESA. She loves taking the train so she kept asking the whole way down there "are we on the train mom? the train is fun huh." All the other passengers thought she was adorable I'm sure. Then when we got there and went inside it had already started but Jasmine from Aladdin was skating around. So naturally she screamed as loud as she could "THERES JASMINE!!!" She did this for every princess and Mickey and Minnie and Goofy and Tinkerbell. She had so much fun it was all she talked about on the train home. " there was a mermaid and the scary dragon and there was fire! and the dragon was scary, and he had a sword and they were skating, and there was a castle and a carriage! And they were singing and I want to go skating, and there was a scary dragon!and Bulan (hahaha)was there And I want to see Belle and she had a pretty dress and did you see the scary dragon?" It was hilarious. That night we went to pie with Jaci and she had ice cream and proceeded to tell Jaci all about the scary dragon. Then on Saturday Jaci and her sister Michelle came over with Kelcy's birthday cake.(pics to come) It was awesome!! A 3 tiered castle cake with all of the Disney Princesses on it. Thanks Michelle you rock! Then on Sunday we took her to see "Enchanted" at the dollar movies. She LOVED it. Again there was lots of talk about Princess Giselle and the scary dragon. She is hilarious!
This morning she had her 3 year check up and Madison had her 4/6 month check up. Kelcy is 37.5 inches tall and weighs 32 lbs which puts her in the 75th percentile (i think) The doctor is estimating she'll be about 5'6 when she is done growing.
Madison is 25.5 inches tall and weighs 15.5 lbs. PUtting her also in the 70th percentile. They are both doing "wonderfully well" and our Dr. thinks Kelcy could pass the pre-kindergarten screening today. Her language skills are amazing and she is advanced with motor skills and such as well. Madison is also advanced with her motor skills. I"m so proud of my girls. They are just perfect. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today is my birthday. Thats right I am now officially 26. Crazy as it seems to me! So far I havent done to much to celebrate, unless doing dishes and cleaning the bathroom counts as celebrating! I'm about to go and clean Kelcy's room. Tracy is planning on taking me out for dinner and a movie tonight after he gets off work so I'm looking forward to that. We dont get nearly enough time alone together. Anyways back to cleaning! HOORAY for a clean house!
