Oh my gosh you guys! I know its been a long time since I've blogged and I'm sorry! Ok so here's what has been going on. Tracy finally convinced me to apply for a job at his work to help our financial situation out a bit. They are working on getting at home chat agents so I figured I'd go to training and then just work at home with the girls. After my original interview I'd joked around with Tracy about being so awesome that they make me the Vice Presidents assistant. And he laughed because she wasn't looking for an assistant. We both thought it was hilarious. Well imagine my surprise when on the first day of training she comes into my training class and announces she needs a new assistant because she promoted hers and she only wanted to open the position up to our training class! SERIOUSLY! I thought it was hysterical and immediately started making plans to get my resume in order to apply for it. There were 30 people in my training class and by the next morning she had about 15 resumes including mine. Her assistant was doing the interviews and started with me. I thought it went really well and we met for about half an hour. she only called out two other people that day and my interview was by far the longest. The next day she called out 3 more people and by the end of the day no one had heard anything. We all knew that whoever the assistant liked would tell the VP about them and then the VP would meet with them and then pick who she liked. The next morning I was seriously starting to stress. One of my competition was eliminated when background checks came back. So it was down to me and 4 other people. Then at about 2:00 on Thursday her assistant came back into the training room where we were in the middle of a training game and asked if I had a minute. So she took me to meet the VP and she liked me and just said lets go for it! SO YAY FOR ME!!! 3rd day on the job and I get promoted! HUGE PROMOTION! I went from being in training for customer service to the executive assistant of the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Care! SO AWESOME! Of course its not an at home job which suck and Tracy and my's schedule is going to overlap so we need to find daycare or a sitter for a few hours a day but its seriously a career making move. I'm even higher in the company now than Tracy who's been there 9 months and promoted 3 times. Lots of people are jealous and asking if i'm even qualified for it and are pissed that she only opened it up to our training class. I love it! I've literally been thrown into my new position and its awesome. She likes me and I think we'll get a long well. If any one knows of daycare or someone looking for a part time nanny job please let me know!! :)

a ray of hope
HOORAY! Today is a day of celebration and much rejoicing in our house! Our car is FINALLY fixed! Thats right people! 10 days, $850.00 and more stress than can be measured we have a working vehicle again. Not only is it running but its also registered and legal to drive again! WAHOO!
See this rod? how torn up it is? yeah its supposed to be smooth, and STRAIGHT!!! Our mechanic doesnt even know how that could happen! its not like its easily bent! You can pull on it as hard as you can and it doesnt budge! Stupid vehicle! Cars should be made to never break. I mean seriously.

Drama Drama Drama
Finally a new blog post for all of my dedicated readers! LOL. Ok so we are finally finished moving and it appears our internet is also FINALLY up and running. Our car broke down on the 30th of May, the day before our big move naturally. We had to borrow Tracy's dad's truck. Luckily everything got done and we are mostly settled in our new place. Sadly our car is still in the shop and every day that goes by is adding more to the total to fix it. It sounds like its pretty messed up which really sucks since we just bought it last year and it only has 37000 miles on it. But our mechanic is recommendng that we get out of it as soon as possible. SUCKS!!! I told Tracy I'm never buying a used car again. (nobody lecture me about that! HAHA) I'm job hunting again to make life and finances easier for us. Tracys work is hiring and hes 99% sure he can get me on there no problem. They are going to be starting people to work at home via chat so thats definitely my first choice. I'm going to try to post some cute pics of the girls soon but I need to get the desktop all hookedup to do that! Be patient readers I'm trying!
Congrats to Julia for quitting her horrible job and to Jaci for making Westminster happen! GO GIRLS!
