Lagoon

So my work does an annual Lagoon day and this year they decided to step it up a notch and rent out the entire park! They even paid for lunch and parking! Now normally when you to got Lagoon you stand in line for hours and hours just waiting to go on rides. NOT THIS TIME!!! With only about 3000 people in the ENTIRE park (minus lagoon a beach and pioneer village) I didnt have to wait in line for a ride at all! Within the first 15 minutes of getting to Lagoon we rode Wild Mouse, The spider, Wicked, and colossus and the sky ride!!



lol ok now i know the sky ride isn't the coolest ride there but it is one of my favorites just because of the views of the park. However, i panic whenever I see someone with a baby or small toddler on the ride. like seriously. I cant even look at them.

Unfortunately for me, I get motion sickness and the long lines between rides generally help me recover before the next ride! So we had to take a break and play some game. Tracy won 3 prizes at games. one for me and one for each of the girls. Our good friends Erin and Jordan came with us, and since Jujube works at Overstock too, her and Dustin were also there and Chuso brought Jaci. It was a G&S reunion. And I just realized that even though the group of us hung out for several hours we never went on any rides together.

I really hope Overstock decides to do this every year. It was so awesome not fighting people for rides and just relaxing. And as you can see by the pics the park was almost totally empty! It was so great! My favorite part of the whole day was, when we were leaving at about 8:30 or so, we were walking across the parking lot to the car and a group of teenagers were walking towards the ticket gates. Ignoring all of the signs that said lagoon was closed for a private function they tried to get in. We could hear them talking about how they were season passholders and how they drove an hour to get there so they WOULD get in. It was hilarious to see them turned away. It made me laugh because the one girl was SOO insistent that they would be let in and her friends were trying to convince her that they wouldnt.
