Twilight Review

As my cute husband reminded me last night I never did post what I thought of the Twilight movie. I'll be honest. The first time I thought it was complete cheese and was seriously disappointed with it. But the second time, and the third time it was SO much better!I still think Jasper is stupid, especially his hair. Emmett is hilarious, by far my favorite character in the movie even though he has practically no lines. James gets hotter every time and Rosalie isn't the epitome of beauty that she is in the books. That being said, what movie really and truly captures the characters you love so much in your heart perfectly? I thought they did a good job and especially with their small budget. I still would go see it again and probably will. Its definitely one I'm going to buy on DVD and I'm so happy that they are proceeding with New Moon and Eclipse. I also totally approve of Catherine Hardwick NOT directing the sequels. She had a vision for the first movie that I didnt really agree with so I'm excited to see what another director can do. However I do hope its NOT like the Harry Potter sequels where nothing is the same. I understand that Hogwarts is magical but seriously, you change the whole look of the grounds and its just weird! That being said I think they will continue to film in Oregon and the magical world of Forks will stay true to itself. I'm also happy that people that are watching the movie are now reading the books!
